Job Description

Here at Village West Marina, we strive to be the Best Full Service Marina on the Delta.  A huge part of achieving that goal begins with the Office Assistant Position.  We expect our Office staff to not only take care of the job duties listed below, but to be a part of the team that makes Village West Marina’s Customer Service stand out above all other marinas!

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and assist customers
  • Payment processing and deposits through our Marina Office software
  • Answer telephone, take messages
  • Data entry
  • File management digital & paper
  • Mail management: Outlook
  • General office duties

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time:

Hours/Days:  8am – 5pm; 4 days including weekends

Salary: starting at $12.00 /hour plus vacation, holidays

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year customer service/receptionist desk: 1 year
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Must be able to work in a high-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to work weekends

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Boating and California Delta waterways
